Routine submissions are often returned within 1-3 work days, however turnaround time will vary depending on concurrent project load and the complexity of your submission. Please let us know about your deadlines when submitting.

First time? If your lab is at UF, you can submit your samples at the same time you email the Account Registration and Submission forms. If your lab is not at UF, we must have complete Fiscal Account information before accepting your work.
Please read the Instructions for submitting samples before filling out the submission form and/or contact the Core for help.

Save form to your computer first or it won't work, fill out, and email as an attachment to molecular@pathology.ufl.edu. You will be contacted when ready for pick-up.

Keep the cassette ID simple (6 characters) and maintain a key to the cassettes IDs in your lab files. When hand labeling cassettes, use a #2-3 hard lead pencil, never a Sharpie.

Picking up samples: You will be emailed when ready for pick-up. Bring your own slide containers or recycle trays and boxes purchased from the Core for full credit towards future submissions.

Paying for services:
At UF: The Fiscal Assistant indicated on your Account Registration form will be emailed the invoice with instructions to return chartfield information to Caroline Long. When your fiscal assistant changes, please let us know. A PO account can also be set up in advance.
Not at UF: The Fiscal assistant will be emailed the invoice and payment by check will be needed before return of slides.

Shipping instructions: Keep specimens immersed in leak-proof containers. Double wrap inside sealable plastic bags with absorbent material in case the first container leaks. Pack in shipping box and cushion with additional absorbent material.

Include a hardcopy of the Account Registration with FedEx address and account # and a Submission form as shipment manifest. Include MPC on FedEx tracking notifications so we know when to expect your package.
