Xiaoxi (Lucy) Zhang
Lab Manager
Lucy is the person in charge of our lab. She handles the general day-to-day of the lab and maintains our mouse colonies. Because of her role she is involved in all of our projects
Hongyang Liu PhD
Postdoctoral Associate
Dr Liu is interested in epigenetic regulation of oncogene and tumor suppressor gene in the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma.
Another of her projects is to investigate the effect of small compounds on the Z α1-antitrypsin (ATZ) secretion and polymerization.
Erika Adriana Eksioglu MS
Predoctoral Fellow
Erika is working towards her doctoral degree in interdisciplinary sciences (IDP program). She has been involved in several projects:
- Dissertation project: Role of innate immune receptors, TLR3, TLR7 and RIG-I in the IFN response to HCV.
- Rotation Project: Studying the effects of HCV on the innate immune response by monocyte derived DC.
- Role of neutralizing antibodies after IL-10 therapy
- Innate immune responses to HAV.
