I received my medical degree from the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. Following a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, I completed fellowships in Surgical Pathology at the University of Michigan, and Orthopaedic Pathology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. As a member of the Department of Pathology, my practice is limited to musculoskeletal and gastrointestinal pathology. My research interests focus on issues that directly affect the management of musculoskeletal diseases, such as tumor grade, stage, and margin status. I am particularly interested in the radiographic and pathologic assessment and management of benign and malignant cartilage tumors. I also coordinate the section covering the pathology of musculoskeletal diseases for the sophomore medical students, and am an instructor at the semi-annual Musculoskeletal Pathology Seminar, a course for orthopedic surgery residents which is sponsored by the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation.
