Breast Pathology
The division of Breast Pathology at the University of Florida Diagnostic Reference Laboratories provides comprehensive diagnostic expertise and services relating to the pathology of benign and malignant disorders of the breast. We also perform histologic evaluation of implant capsules.
In addition to evaluation by conventional histology, a quantitative panel of specialized immunohistological and molecular techniques are routinely available. Our Estrogen, Progesterone, Her-2-neu and Mib-1 are quantitated by the Chroma Vision ASCIS technology. We work with oncologists to send out saqmples for Oncotype Dx.
