Urologic Pathology


The division of Urologic Pathology at the Diagnostic Reference Laboratory is dedicated to providing outstanding diagnostic services to physicians and patients on referred material. The division of Urologic Pathology is staffed by pathologists with subspecialty expertise and research interest in Urologic pathology; expertise that is reinforced by the high volume of clinical specimens reviewed daily within the department. Our expertise encompasses all areas of genitourinary pathology including prostate, bladder, testis and neoplastic disorders of the kidneys and is supported by a state-of-the-art immunohistochemical laboratory and ever-expanding ancillary test method. In addition, the physician pathologists are readily available for consultations and all unexpected or critical results will be called to the referring physician.
