Pulmonary Pathology

The pulmonary pathology division provides comprehensive lung pathology services using state-of-the-art technology. We routinely process biopsies and surgical specimens to diagnose infectious lung disease, lung tumors, transplant rejection, interstitial lung disease, and other chronic non-neoplastic lung disorders. Techniques include frozen section and fixed tissue light microscopy, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and electron microscopy. In our consultation services we are dedicated to achieving accurate diagnosis, rapid turn-around time, close clinical pathological correlation and physician satisfaction, and thereby promoting high standard patient care.
