Molecular Pathology
The University of Florida Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory is a service oriented diagnostic reference lab, that employs the clinical and academic expertise of world renewed, board certified pathologists. The Laboratory is certified by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) (CAP#1482312), approved by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) (CLIA# 10D0911006), and by State of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (Certification # 800010089). Our mission is to provide highest quality services to our patients. We offer testing in the areas of solid tumor screening and diagnosis, lymphoid malignancies, infectious diseases, parentage identity, and genetic mutational analysis of coagulation disorders. Our laboratory services hospitals, physicians, public health centers and reference laboratories. We also service research groups with clinical trail study and other projects.

Cancer

- Breast Tumor Evaluation; including quantitative morphometry and FISH quantitation of Herceptin 2 (please see Breast Pathology)
