Currently Involved In:

Developing and applying immunomicroscopic, flow cytometric and molecular genetic analyses to the diagnosis, detection and biological characterization of human hematological neoplasia. My clinical responsibilities are in the Hematopathology Laboratory, which serves as a major consulting center for the various Shands Hospitals and numerous other institutions and clinics throughout the Southeast. The analysis of clinical samples is one of the main sources of data for our clinical research and educational activities.  Other responsibilities include the directorship of the ACGME-accredited Hematopathology Training Fellowship Program and the Hematopathology course for UF medical students, committee memberships and medical journal reviews.
