Currently Involved In:
My area of diagnostic expertise is renal pathology, which includes
the evaluation of renal biopsies from other institutions throughout
the Southeast. I am a working general surgical pathologist and also
have interests and responsibilities in ultrastructural pathology
and hematopathology.
My teaching interests and responsibilities include the cell and molecular biology of cancer and the directorship of the Renal Pathology Course for the UF medical students.
My research interests include both the underlying mechanisms and diagnostic aspects of renal development, as well as medical diseases and tumors of the kidney.
Administrative responsibilities include serving as Chief of Anatomic Pathology of the North Florida /South Georgia Veterans Health System and several committee memberships.
