Currently Involved In:

My primary research area is cell biology of dendritic cells, and the relationship between dendritic cells (controller of immune response ) and immune tolerance. I am currently focusing on development of tolerogenic dendritic cells and application of these cells to induce immune tolerance in NOD diabetic mice and type 1 diabetic patients. Regulation of IL-10 and IL-12 production which is important for dendritic cells to direct Th polarization is my additional research interest.
